That’s great but, I really wanted to see the dog as a cartoon. He looks so cute in the picture with you. I guees he does not need to be any more glamorous. LOL

Me too Sheryl, I sent the same picture in that you are talking about but they cut her out. I noticed later on their site that it says only one person per picture or something to that effect.

Her name is Sadie Hawkins, just like the dance :) Here she is with her best friend (next to me) Sparta.

This picture is so cute, she looks just like you. Is this your first child or last? I think she has your eyes.

  4. Brian Hawkins says:

Hi AJ, I was starting to think you couldn’t access this side of the net. Yes, she does have my eyes but don’t hate us because we’re beautiful ;)

  5. Zed says:

Ok, this is off topic from the post but, I just came by to see Sadie!
I see she has trained the cat to be a pillow. Now, that is just what a cat should be for, serving dogs needs!

  6. Brian Hawkins says:

Hi Zed, I need to video those two playing and put it up. They wrestle and chase each other around the house and when they get tired they cuddle up together and fall asleep. When the cat gets tired of serving the dog’s needs you hear a big yelp from Sadie and playtime is over ;)

  7. I had noticed Robin post about this offer. Seems like a cheap way to get a cartoon mascot for your blog.

  8. Brian Hawkins says:

Hi TalkPhobias.com, it sure does. I wish I had that talent, I’d be doing the same thing.

  9. Sire says:

Now that is what I call very smart, taking a natural talent and selling it online.

I know, isn’t that a great idea Sire? I wish I had a talent that could be the perfect online business. I’ve been telling everyone that one great idea like that is all it takes to truly have a niche success.

  11. Sire says:

I’ve found that to be true with a lot of things in life, especially in America because you have a huge population. All it takes is one good idea and then to get it on the Oprah show ;)

My daughter Cait loves to do that kind of stuff. Maybe I should look into what type of program they use. She normally draws in paint using a mouse. She also uses Paint.net to ‘re-do’ her friends pics for their profiles.
I left the link to her Flickr pics. She does not have all of them loaded up there but, she does have a few you can see.
Yes, I hope one day she can make money doing something like this!I want her to be able to afford to keep me in a nice nursing home. LOL!

Hi Sheryl, Your daughter has talent. Those are nice enough to sell as website graphics. There may even be a market for touching up photo for others. The fact they can be uploaded or emailed makes for an easy business. Got to love digital products.

Nice to see you Peter. It’s funny, I brought her home and her name was already Sadie. Our name is Hawkins and after about six months my Mother mentioned the Sadie Hawkins dance. She thought that’s why we named her that and it never even crossed my mind. She is great with our Grand Children.

  16. Sire says:

@ Sheryl… she shows a lot of talent. I really liked what she had done and even left a couple of comments.

    Hello Brian,
Thank you very much for taking the time to look at my art. Right now I’m doing most of the drawing part of it, on Paint and editing friends pictures on Paint.net.

I think it’s really awesome that people get paid to do this stuff. Getting paid…sounds good to me. HA!

Hopefully I can get Photoshop one day, I’m sure it works allot better. Lolz

@ – Sire: Thank you for stoping by and leaving a comment. I really appreciate it.

    Peace
    Cait Hagar

It’s my pleasure Cait. I’m sure you already know about it but I use a free program called Gimp. One of the cool features is it accepts Photoshop files. I’m sure you will eventually be doing what you enjoy while getting paid for it. With a Mom like Sheryl you are already ahead of the curve.

  19. Sire says:

@ – Cait,No worries, I was young too once and I know how important positive reinforcement can be. Besides, she really does have talent.
